INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Jasmine rice (dry)
- 2 large bell peppers (green, red, orange, yellow… what have you)
- 1 package Jennie-O Lean Turkey Kielbasa
- PAM (any flavor)
- Salt
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Rough chop peppers and cut 1″ slices of the Jennie-O Kielbasa.
- Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with PAM (any flavor). Spread peppers and kielbasa evenly and pop in the oven. Cook for 20 minutes.
- Prepare rice. Mix one cup of rice with 1-3/4 cup of water, and add a dash of salt. Cover.
- Microwave for 5 minutes at 100% power, immediately followed by 10 minutes on 50% power. Let stand in microwave for 5 minutes, then remove, take off cover and fluff.
- Peppers and kielbasa should be ready at the same time as the rice.
- Spoon peppers and kielbasa on top of rice.
- Flavor combination is best when all three ingredients are eaten in the same bite.
